What still needs to be done?
Because of the natural drying time of the wood that we have respected, and the manual building method, construction has taken over three years. At this moment, the loghome is almost ready, but you can already live in it. We are living in the loghome ourselves at this moment, but the finishing touches still need to be laid. We left them mostly for the new owner as this is very personal. Here is a description of the current situation:
gound floor:
There is a hallway, a bedroom, living room with kitchen and a washing room. The hallway, bedroom and living room (with Tulikivi stove) are finished. The sink and shower- connections at the washing room are present, but need to be finished according to personal taste. The toilet is installed. The kitchen still needs to be installed according to your taste, altough there is a sink, refrigerator and an island. The connections for dishwasher and electrical appliances are present in the walls.
first floor:
There is a big loft-space, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. One could easily create two more bedrooms out of the gorgeous loft-space. Or just leave it like it is, its a gorgeous space. The walls upstairs still need to be finished with plaster and are still moveable if required. There is also a wood stove upstairs. The balcony is 22m2 and has two balcony doors.
Garden landscaping is open to your personal taste and a building permit for a 6 x 8 m carport is present.
